EHRs do a good job at recording patient progress through the healthcare continuum. They are far less adept at helping healthcare organizations improve clinical, financial and operational decisions and outcomes.
Organizations focused on increasing revenue and productivity while lowering costs recognize that forsaking true analytics for a cobbled-together, EHR-based analytics solution doesn’t cut it.
