The big success was the delivery of the flagship Customs and Excise System for the Administration of Revenue (CAESAR II) for the government of the island of Jersey. The island underwent tax reforms that made the majority of consignments arriving into the island subject to tax collection. The project team had to re-engineer the customs processes, allowing the agency to stand up to the challenge of extreme capacity growth and control over operating expenses at the same time.
